What this guide covers

The guide is a small set of decision pages. It separates choosing a beach base — the north, the east coast, and Stone Town as an arrival hub — from combining the island with a mainland Tanzania safari, and from reading Zanzibar's seasons and daily tides. Each page frames one choice and defers the detail.

How it uses sources

Changing detail is left to the source: Stone Town heritage to the Stone Town Conservation and Development Authority and the UNESCO record, entry and crossings to Tanzania Immigration, and seasonal outlooks to the Tanzania Meteorological Authority. The guide points to the right source instead of restating access, tickets, or conditions.

What it deliberately leaves out

No operator or hotel rankings, no booking or availability promises, no package sales, and no live conditions. Tide and season notes are kept general because they vary daily and by year, and the guide does not turn heritage status into practical travel instructions.
